Radium, at least in the case of Spaced out, was likely meant to be used in the Spaced Out DLC, but it was replaced by Uranium. Uranium was actually originally called Radium, but they are different.. It still exists in the game, and needs the Cell Painter in Debug mode or sandbox to access it. It seems to just be there to be there, or it was just never removed. It may have existed basegame.
