Refined Phosphorus is a Consumable Ore. It does not spawn as tiles in the world, but rather must be processed from Phosphorite.
Usage[]
Azure Bugs and Abyss Bugs can eat Refined Phosphorus. They are also attracted Airborne Critter Bait using Refined Phosphorus as bait.
The Geotuner uses Refined Phosphorus to boost both the output and temperature of metal volcanoes.
Production[]
Melting Phosphorite produces Phosphorus (Liquid) which can be frozen to produce Refined Phosphorus. This process absorbs significant heat because the SHC of Refined Phosphorus (0.77) is greater than Phosphorite (0.15).
Quantities of Liquid Phosphorus 160kg or greater will solidify into natural tiles of Refined Phosphorus and then require mining (mining any tile reduces the mass of the tile by 50%). Freezing quantities lesser than 160kg will solidify the Refined Phosphorus into debris without loss of mass.
